A two-person racing keelboat with many of the characteristics of a dinghy, it planes (you get wet), it’s exhilarating, it’s small enough to tow to open meetings and offers competitive fleet sailing. It’s a ‘hiking’ class and it carries a powerful (symmetric) spinnaker. In club sailing, there is good competition throughout the fleet and our crews compete (and are successful) in regional, national and international championships. Competition in older boats is also keen, with active classic and silver divisions. With boats remaining competitive for many years, entry to the class can be at a reasonable price. |
